Driver License in TN

Thursday 4th of Sept, my aunt’s birthday btw, I had an appointment at the DMV. I drove there with S and when we got there, we scanned the QR-code that you have to do if you have an appointment. So we did and nothing happened, and we didn’t really understand. The Driver Service lady said we were tooooooo early to check in, so we waited 15min. Did it again, but nothing happened. So we asked AGAIN, and they were like, yea, if you have a road test, you gotta do the OTHER QR-CODE. AHHH, it even said on the sign that the QR-code we did, excluded the road test check in. ANYWAYS. We checked in and waited.

Finally my turn, she just checked my blinkers and light, and we were ready to drive. We drove for like 10min max, and had a nice chat. No mistakes in the end and I passed the road test. The picture ON the driver license, is horrible, but I guess that’s what I look like.

Now I can finally drive again, without S! HURRAY!

Torsdag 4.september, tante Kari's bursdag, hadde jeg en time hos DMV, altså Veivesenet. Jeg kjørte med Sam og da vi kom dit, skannet vi en QR-kode som du må gjøre hvis du har time. Ingenting skjedde og vi skjønte virkelig ikke helt hva som var galt. En hjelper sa vi var FOR tidlig ute til å sjekke inn, så vi måtte vente 15 minutter. Vi prøvde å sjekke inn igjen, men ingenting skjedde, så vi spurte hjelperen igjen, og da sa de "åja, hvis du skal ta KJØREtesten, må du skanne en ANNEN QR-kode." Kjære vene. Vi fikk sjekket inn og ventet.

Endelig var det min tur, alt kjørelæreren min gjorde før vi kjørte avgårde var å sjekke blinklysene og lysene. Jeg kjørte i 10 minutter og hadde en fin liten prat. Ingen feil og jeg sto prøven! Bildet på førerkortet kunne sett bedre dager, men shit au.

Nå kan jeg endelig kjøre alene igjen!
